ShapeCarver Studio is a custom extension for Aseprite, crafted for artists and pixel lovers who want to build strange, haunting, or absurd compositions using photographic fragments.

Drop in a butterfly wing. Add a human skull. Resize and reduce. What you get is a silhouette ready for nightmares or dark folklore. A tool for experimental digital collage — right inside Aseprite.

🧩 How does it work?

1. Load your images in .PNG with transparent background (cut-out parts like bones, wings, claws, etc.).

2. Use the selection tool to isolate the part.

3. Set the threshold and binary colors to simplify it.

4. Choose between Relative or Absolute scaling.

5. Preview in real time — fast or full — and convert when satisfied.

6. The result is placed in a separate square canvas ready to continue composing.

📦 Requirements

🔧 Installation

1. Open Aseprite.

2. Go to File > Scripts > Open Scripts Folder.

3. Drop ShapeCarverStudio.lua into the folder.

4. Restart Aseprite or use File > Scripts > Reload.

5. Run it from the Scripts menu.
